April 2012Toronto ON-‐VISO INC., a local light designer and manufacturer seemingly breaks the lawsof science by inserting lights into ice cubes!Not real ice cubes of course, top quality polycarbonate cubes made to look like ice. These charming light fixtures, great on their own and fantastic in clusters, are named H2O.
The designer, Filipe Lisboa explains, “The organic quality of the ice cube shape lends an interesting metaphysical twist to the modern fixtures.” “H2O was the perfect name for them.” Lisboa also adds, “This fixture is beautiful in large clusters which is why it was chosen for our Audi project at the company’s headquarter in Germany.” “The effect is striking, and everyone is very pleased”.
The H2O has a metallic finish and is available in three colors: silver (used at Audi), gold and copper. The available configurations are single, triple and quintuple suspensions, as well as a standing floor model. Custom cluster drops, canopies & designs are available on request.
