November 12th 2014Toronto, Canada-‐VISO INC. a local light design and manufacturer, launches ARCHIE, a boldfloor lamp design. The designer and CEO of the company Filipe Lisboa, created ARCHIE as a ”testament to classic 60’s design with a refreshing bolder, luxurious twist” The technologies used by VISO make the Archie lamp a quality benchmark in the industry as well as a piece of art. “ARCHIE’s shape elicits memories of the past, while its form and function make it new and exciting” Lisboa states.
VISO’s superior polycarbonate material is used for the body and the semi globe of the lamp, and is frosted for an elegant finish. Brushed stainless steal and rotational molding make the Archie light functional and modern. Archie’s lines create a relaxed and dreamy effect and make a true statement over a low sofa or modern armchair.
ARCHIEs base measures 2 ft. wide and slowly thins out as it joins the white globe measuring 1½ ft. VISO creates another surprise by lighting the base as well as the light.
What’s more? The exterior ready coating allows this stylish design to be taken outdoors.
