Filipe Lisboa, our head designer and CEO, perfected the process of metallization to ensure that the beautiful finishes we produce on our polycarbonate, acrylic and ceramic fixtures, do not peel, bubble, or fade throughout the life of the fixture. We can tell you that getting that perfect shade of Gold, Copper and Silver is no easy feat. Vacuums are involved to avoid dust and other elements that can affect the finish of the fixture. Real metals are used in the mix and with a shake of the VISO wand, magic happens.
We do admit that clustering several fixtures together while making the lower half transparent plays an incredible trompe l’oeil within space. Why should we think of a light fixture as simply that mode by which natural lighting is artificially brought into each space?
