Each month, we shine a light on one of our decorative light fixtures through our new blog series, VISO Spotlight.
“The fixture is inspired by a trip to Europe. We dined al fresco on the beach to watch the sunset and take in the breathtaking clear night sky. The stars were especially bright that night, I decided then and there that I wanted to capture their unique colour and shape in a new design for our collection” states Lisboa.
The Wandering Star pendant fixture was launched last spring at the Light + Building in Frankfurt as part of our Made With Love collection.
Drawing inspiration from the starry night sky, the fixture was designed by VISO founder & CEO Filipe Lisboa. It features a two-tone globe made of luxurious marble, a high-end glass magnifier with diffuser and metal components finished in hairline bronze.
Produced in our Toronto facility using eco-friendly manufacturing techniques, the Wandering Star pendant supports a LED 90v-240v bulb in either 5.5W LED or 12W LED. It is available in two circumference sizes 4.3” and 6”, and four gorgeous styles including: Carrera Mable White Polish, Nero Marble Marquina Polish, Carrera Marble White Matte and Travertino Beige Marble Matte.
The Wandering Star pendant can be clustered to create a visually dynamic light installation. VISO’s team can design custom clusters upon request.
